My darling Chris

I did not get a letter from you last night but had three by the first post this morning

I am sorry it is a will case, as they seem to take such a long time to decide them.

You ought to go to the theatre or somewhere every evening dear. I wish you would.

I expect the rest from the railway journey every day will do you good. That is the only thing I am glad about you being away for, but I wish I was with you, I miss you more and more every day.

We are both well. I am just going to take the boy out for a walk. It is freezing but has been snowing this morning.

I am not going to expect you home tonight but long to see you.

With love and kisses from your little boy and your loving wife.

Katie Elmslie
