My darling Chris
You cruel old boy to keep me in suspense for so long. You said you would write on Tuesday night and all day yesterday I was thinking of all sorts of things that might have happened to you. So I was delighted to get you letter last night and hear you are well.
I felt so lonely again last night without you dear. I wish I had gone up with you as you are such a time away.
I am so glad you will be home for good tomorrow.
We are well, the weather is so warm and seems finer.
With love and kisses from the boy and your loving wife.
