My dear Chris
I am sorry you are having rainy weather. It poured in torrents from five until about eight o’clock last night.
Charlotte went over to St Leonards yesterday after lunch and came home about 9.30 – she has some mysterious friend there. On her way back she stopped at Bexhill. Your father sent a pair of dark glasses to you by her.
I went to the baths this morning. Tomorrow night Edie and I are going to see “Saturday to Monday”
I let Jane and Gray go to Hampton Park this afternoon, they liked it. It was very cold here this morning the sun was quite hot in the middle of the day.
The boys have been so cross since they came in to tea. My head is all in a whirl and I feel quite giddy, I shall go for a walk along the front after supper and see if it will do me good.
I had a letter from Charlie Shores saying baby was much better.
I am beginning to feel lonely now and am looking forward to Saturday. I finished “the mutineers” this afternoon, I think it is rather sad towards the end, and made me feel sad. I hope you enjoyed the Tivoli.
Must close now or will miss the post.
Love from the boys and your loving Wife.
Katie
